Activities and venues are subject to changes, so please continue to check the website or like our Facebook Event page regularly for the most up-to-date information.

All activities listed below are INCLUDED with your IKAA Gathering 2019 Registration, unless otherwise noted.

WeWork Jongno Tower

The Welcome Meet & Greet is an event that was created with new Seoul Gathering attendees in mind, after listening to past attendees who told us they wished there was a more structured opportunity towards the beginning of the event to meet fellow attendees. There will some activities, as well as an opportunity for casual networking, and, of course, it will be a lot of fun meeting everyone!

Please note that this event is for adults (18+ — including spouses, partners, and adult children of adoptees) who are registered for the IKAA Gathering 2019. Light refreshments will be provided.

Unfortunately, we have reached capacity, but we look forward to seeing you at the main programming of the IKAA Gathering 2019!

Jamsil Baseball Stadium

The LG Twins are taking on the Kiwoom Heroes at Jamsil Baseball Stadium!

A group will head to the stadium together from the Lotte Hotel, or you can meet the group at the stadium. Tickets will be purchased upon arrival at the stadium, and attendees will be responsible for the cost of their own ticket(s) (usually US $7-10 per ticket).

Meet in the lobby of the Lotte Hotel at 5-5:15pm. It takes about 40 minutes by subway to get to the stadium, and there will be IKAA volunteers to take G19ers in groups starting at 5pm.

All Over Seoul

Get to know Seoul and more of what makes it such an AMAZING place! We can’t tell you what exactly you will be doing, but you can expect to be split into teams and head off to various locations throughout the city, completing activities and tasks that will introduce you to Seoul, Korean food, Korean culture, and more! Whichever team finishes all of the activities and tasks first, wins!
Interested in joining? Please keep in mind the following:
1. Wear comfortable shoes / clothes. You may not be literally running around, but you will be out-and-about for at least a few hours.

2. 12-15 year olds can also participate with their parent(s).

Dongguk University Field

IKAA has accepted a “friendly” match request from the Ministry of Health & Welfare!

There will be box lunches served to both players and fans after the game (up to 300 persons) – so even if you’re not playing, come and cheer on the IKAA soccer (football) team! This will be a full field match, 11 on 11, and 45 minute halves (!).

COACHES: Henrik Burheim (SE) & Jesper Liebing (NL)

Meet in the lobby of the Lotte Hotel at 9:15am! There will be IKAA volunteers to take people over in groups.
